To tell you the truth, I am currently diagnosed under mild depression called Dysthymia that have been happening over the course of 5 years. Yes, 5 years! I had a difficult moment in which i could no longer control the negativity that was influencing my thoughts. I was at a point where i had to make a choice, either i commit suicide or brave enough to seek professional help.All the while, i rejected everyone who wants to help me. I held back every single person or opportunity.
I simply refused to help myself even though my teacher are there wanting to help me.
The loss of my dear ones and my upcoming examination made my life a living hell. I was constantly under a great amount of pressure but i managed to endured.
It was until few months back where i had enough. I was on the verge of breaking apart due to constant feeling of despondent and the frequent uncontrollable thoughts that was bothering me. I took the plunge of warding myself at the nearest A&E hospital with the assistance of a former colleague who works there. She registered for me since i was scared.
I was experiencing:
· constant thoughts of how you going to commit suicide
· constant sadness
· no longer have any passion in the activities that you used to like or enjoy
· having trouble sleeping
· stay away from any form of interaction
It is critical that you able to identify the symptoms of depression so as to safeguard yourself and your loved ones.. Its better to get an early treatment before its too late. Look for people whom you can trust or ask for professional help Get closer to god and ensure that you have a healthy lifestyle.
