Diane drank quite often and quite a lot with her drinking pals. It Shouldn’t Come as a Big Shock That What Diane Articulated Would Set Off a Heated Discussion

It shouldn’t come as a complete shock that what Diane said would cause a heated discussion. For example, her best friend since the eighth grade, Karla, articulated that they are too young and too healthy to be worried about abusive and irresponsible drinking. Another friend named Max thought that since most junior high and high school students drink there’s no logical reason why they should be any different. Another drinking friend named Adalyn said that all she wants to do is to have fun drinking with her friends. And still another drinking pal named Finn essentially agreed with Diane essentially because both of his parents abused alcohol and both of his parents had a history of alcohol related difficulties.

Diane told her classmates that she comprehended everything that they had said but that engaging in abusive and excessive drinking at such an early age in all honesty can’t be very healthy or something that contributes toward establishing a worthwhile life. When a couple of her drinking pals asked what kind of alcohol difficulties Diane was discussing, Diane stated the following: alcohol-related problems like alcohol poisoning (which can be fatal in some instances), alcohol-related traffic accidents and fatalities, and alcoholism and alcohol-related diseases such as heart disease, cirrhosis of the liver, and cancer.

When Diane then underscored the fact that hazardous and careless drinking commonly results in financial, school, legal, and relationship problems, some of her buddies finally began to understand how extensive and how damaging abusive drinking can be. To be sure some of her drinking friends opened up and started to tell how these alcohol dependency and alcohol abuse effects had adversely affected their parents and some of their friends.

After articulating some of the alcoholism and alcohol abuse problems that are related to irresponsible and excessive drinking, the majority of her pals seemed to agree to the idea about getting information on the web. They were, however, cautious about discussing their drinking situations with any of the teachers at school. As Diane heard this she thought to herself, “at least they want to learn more about their unhealthy drinking. This is a very fine start.”
